Overview
2015 西联华人社区经理职位介绍
The
primary responsibility of this role centers on a thorough and deep knowledge of
the respective diaspora and U.S. diaspora communities in which the role will
focus. Chosen applicants
will be the experts in Tier 1 and Tier 2 DMAs through significant
involvement in the important community organizations, gathering places, community
leaders and events on a year-round basis. If they are not already, they should
strive to become influencers within the community, which requires of them an
ability to know and build relationships with the right people.

Key Responsibilities:

- Responsible for supporting
marketing initiatives among their communities, as developed by the U.S.
Marketing and the Regional Teams
- 根据西联美国市场部及区域团队的部署,支持所在华人社区的市场活动。
- Track and analyze the trends
of their diaspora, including but not limited to: outbound remittance trends
to target corridors and competitive intelligence to derive real-time
insights to share with key team stakeholders
- 跟踪并分析所在华人社区的趋势,包含但不局限于:美国到中国的发汇趋势,及市场竞争信息收集。并将市场洞察并汇报给相关负责人。
- Refer, suggest and support upcoming
events in the top communities – to include business KPI performance
tracking post-each event
- 制订、建议、并支持在重点华人社团的市场活动;并在活动计划的制订、执行和后期评估中,囊括具体业务的考评指标(如交易量增长、收入增长、等)。
- Comprehensive understanding
of the acculturation processes for new immigrants to derive insights into where/how
to reach them
- 深入理解新移民的文化渗透过程,并从中得出在哪里/如何接触到他们。
- Assist Sales and Marketing
teams to collect critical information within a short deadline, including
but not limited to: Pricing analysis, consumer and agent/FLA surveys, etc
- 具备在紧迫时间内,协助销售和市场团队收集重要信息的能力,包含但不局限于:价格分析,消费者/代理/零售网点一线人员的信息反馈。
- Develop a database of
pertinent information regarding the community, including but not limited
to: community leaders/influencers, diaspora associations, places of
gathering (restaurants, ethnic markets, religious houses, etc.)
- 制作针对社区的相关信息数据库,包含但不局限于:侨领/关键人物,华人协会团体,华人聚集地点(餐馆、华人市场、宗教集会点,等)
- Attend Community Events and
organize community leader social gatherings (i.e. dinners)
- 参与社区活动并组织社区领袖的社交活动(如聚餐)
- Assist consumers to
understand WU products and services, including new products such as Direct
to Bank
- 帮助消费者了解西联产品和服务,包括西联新产品的教育,如西联的“直接到账”产品。
- Coordinate marketing efforts
aimed at D2B product expansion. Assist in the coordination and execution
of the D2B vision, strategies, program and initiatives to transport and
activate the Global Brand message at the local consumer experience level.
Monitor and make suggestions for improvements to the consumer experience.
- 协助达成D2B(直接到账产品,以下简称D2B)产品用户扩张的市场目标。协助D2B远景、策略、项目及市场活动的实施,以达成从西联全球品牌诉求到本地消费者体验的传递和激活。监控并记录任何对提升消费者体验有帮助的意见和建议。
- Drive
D2B incremental transactions/revenue growth through managing
flawless execution of marketing initiatives in the field.
- 通过精良的市场计划执行,驱动D2B交易量/收入的增长。
- Responsible to assist the
D2B Brand/Product Manager and local marketing manager in executing
promotional and advertising campaigns.

- Support D2B product
development activities. Research, explore, identifies opportunities to
enhance the product and service offer

- Execute the WU brand
promotional and advertising campaigns for D2B. Proactively identify needs
in the markets served and advise internal clients to help devise the best
and most relevant advertising and communication tools and campaigns
Objectively reviews all advertisements to ensure accuracy, layout/design,
copy, pricing,etc.

- Provides customer support
through merchandising and promoting Western Union D2B services, to ensure
maximum usage and revenue development.
- 向消费者/代理网点提供必要的市场宣传品,以提升西联D2B服务水平。确保最大利用率并追求相应收益的增长。
- Assist in the development
and execution of marketing, branding and promotional program to stimulate
demand for D2B.
- 协助发展和执行市场、品牌和促销活动以激励D2B的用户需求。
- Prepares comparative
analysis against D2B competitors and provides strategic suggestions
regarding the planning of D2B direction and features.

Ethnic-Agent Sales Liaison:
与华人代理网点的业务挂钩:
- Chosen candidates should
assist in relationship management of ethnic agents in support of the US
SAM organization and under the direction of regional SAM leadership,
including but not limited to:

- Significant travel required
to other primary and secondary markets to execute the above
responsibilities

Reporting:
- Diaspora Managers will
report to the U.S. Marketing USOB Marketing Director and work directly
with Marketing Manager on their respective corridors (Dora Newlin &
Sean Deaver).

- When agents are involved, Diaspora
Managers will have a dotted line reporting structure to Regional Vice President,
or their delegated sales director.
