站在王冕的三幅梅花图前面，对这满屋子赵孟頫（fu）、王蒙等元代大师作品，来自中国的画家罗先生说，“我父亲当了一辈子大学美术教授，可是没有机会看到王冕的真迹啊！”  

    这就是纽约，足不出城，你就可以看到来自中国大陆、台湾以及欧美重要博物馆的中国元代艺术珍藏。

    横跨中国国庆节、美国感恩节、圣诞节以及元旦等重要节日的《忽必烈的时代——中国元代艺术大展》(The World of Khubilai Khan: Chinese Art in the Yuan Dynasty, )已于9月28日在大都会博物馆隆重登场。来自中国大陆的作品有109件，还有200件来自台湾、欧美等地的博物馆以及私人收藏。配合这次隆重的历史文物展览，大都会博物馆8月份已经推出北美收藏中国元代书画艺术特展，（The Yuan Revolution: Art and Dynastic Change）。

    前面为元代艺术大展中部分书画作品。我自己有个疑问，元代是中国戏剧的黄金时代，可是在今次绘画中不易见到戏剧相关的题材。不过，很快从雕塑部分找到。
