说起布朗士，除了扬基体育馆、布朗士动物园和纽约植物园，很多人都说不出别的内容，这个区居住的华人并不多，大家听起来比较陌生，常常想起不好的治安，比如福建人开的中餐外卖餐馆窗口要安装防弹玻璃。

    实际上，布朗士也有很高尚很豪华的小区。

    本文要介绍的Riverdale，位于布朗士的西北，地理上处在曼哈顿北部与Yonkers南部之间，沿着哈德逊河的一带。西奥多・罗斯福（罗斯福总统的父亲）和约翰・肯尼迪总统曾经住过的地方，罗斯福住过的那个房子，马克・吐温也曾经住过。

    罗斯福居住过的WaveHill波浪山庄，位于Riverdale小区内，是一个对外开放的公园，网站甚至还有中文版，我们去参观时，不是周末，接送的小巴成了我们的专车。

    从中央车站乘坐Metro-North到达Riverdale或者乘坐1号地铁到达北部最后一个车站，车站外面有WaveHill标志的小巴免费接送。(从中央车站前往，40分钟左右)。 Wave Hill 门口有停车场。
