美国国务卿布林肯谈跨性别纪念日

11月20日是国际跨性别纪念日（Transgender Day of Remembrance, TDoR），它的设立是为了纪念因反跨性别的憎恨或偏见而遭杀害的跨性别朋友，并提高对跨性别群体所受暴力的认知。

2021年11月20日，布林肯国务卿在推特上表示：“今天，我们纪念在美国和海外因为针对跨性别的仇恨而逝去的生命。美国致力于消除基于性别认同和表达的暴力与歧视，并支持跨性别者和性别表现不一致者的人权。”

在美国国务院11月19日的一份关于跨性别纪念日的新闻简报中，布林肯国务卿表示：“在世界各地，跨性别者和性别表现不一致者遭受到的基于他们的性别认同或表达的暴力、骚扰和歧视令人震惊。此外，跨性别者和性别表现不一致者在获得公正方面还面临着障碍，他们还面临持续的污名化，同时在整个卫生、经济和社会体系中被边缘化且未能获得应有的代表。这些现实都因新冠疫情而恶化。”

布林肯国务卿还说，“促进和保护LGBTQI+群体的人权是本届政府对外政策的一个优先事项”，他同时指出，“在我们悼念那些因偏执而失去生命的跨性别和性别表现不一致者的同时，我们将继续追求建立一个人人都能免受暴力和歧视的世界。”

Secretary Blinken on Transgender Day of Remembrance

On November 20, #Secretary Blinken# said on Twitter, “Today, we remember the lives lost to anti-trans hate in the United States and overseas.

     The U.S. is committed to eliminating violence and discrimination on the basis of gender identity and expression and support the human rights of transgender and gender non-conforming persons.”

In a November 19 State Department Press Release for #Transgender Day of Remembrance#, Secretary Blinken said, “Around the world, transgender and gender non-conforming people are subjected to staggering levels of violence, harassment, and discrimination on the basis of their gender identity or expression. In addition, transgender and gender non-conforming people face barriers to justice and persistent stigmatization as well as marginalization and underrepresentation across health, economic and social systems.  These realities have been worsened by the COVID-19 pandemic.”

Secretary Blinken also stated, “promoting and protecting the human rights of LGBTQI+ persons is a foreign policy priority of this Administration,” and concluded, “As we mourn the transgender and gender non-conforming persons who have lost their lives to bigotry, we will continue to pursue a world where all people may live free from violence and discrimination.”
