This post will show you how to use Lonsdor K518 Pro to add a smart key for the 2017 Volvo XC90.

Connect the K518 Pro OBD cable to the car's OBD port, then select [Immo & Remote] >> [VOLVO] >> [XC90] >> [2015-2021] >> [Smart key].
1. Read CEM data
Now we use KPROG to dismantle and read data from the CEM module.
The CEM module has been removed; follow the detailed instructions in the [HELP] menu!
Please plug the external 12V power supply and connect the KPROG adapter to the 15-pin connector on the mainline!
Select the chip type: MPC5748G, then enter the filename to save the data.
Reading finished!
2. Add smart key
After the CEM data is read, we select [Add smart key] >> [Load CEM data to obtain 10-bit security code], and select the file.
Turn the ignition on.
Current key count: 1
Now, insert the blank key into the induction area (cup holder or armrest box) and click [OK] to program it.
Current key count: 2, click [Cancel].
The programming is complete.
