 1 Remove the spacer ring from the shaft of the reduction gear unit. The spacer ring is coated with sealant.

  2. Remove the level gauge and pipe from the hydraulic motor housing, plug the Panasonic and drain the gear oil.  

3 Loosen the bolts and separate the motor and reduction device.  

4 Remove the No. 1 sun gear. 

 5. Install the lifting eye on the No. 1 planet gear carrier and lift it out together with the No. 1 planet gear.

 6. Disassemble the No. 1 planetary carrier assembly. Remove the retaining ring. Remove the side plate, No. 1 planetary gear, needle bearing and two sliding plates. But do not remove the No. 1 pin, No. 1 planet carrier and spring pin. 

 7Remove the second sun gear and the retaining ring if necessary. 

 8. Remove the No. 1 ring gear and mark it for assembly.

  9 Loosen the bolts and remove the housing.  

10 Install the lifting eye screw on the shaft and remove the shaft assembly. When disassembling the shaft assembly, remember to mark the locating pins for ease of assembly. 

 11 After marking the outside of the No. 2 ring gear and the front housing, remove the No. 2 ring gear from the front housing.

 12 Remove the oil seal from the front housing. 

 13 Use special tools to remove the bearing. 

 14 Place the remaining parts on the workbench with the shaft facing upwards, and use the pin removal jig to hit the key hard to remove the pin. 

 15 Remove the remaining spring pins from the shaft. 

 16Remove the No. 2 planetary gear and push washer. 

 17 Since the thrust journal is installed into the shaft, if it needs to be replaced, it can be removed with the jacking screw. 

 18It is not necessary to remove the bearing.
