Fault description 

 1.DX120 engine automatically stalls during operation 

 2. The dashboard pops up the "Communication Error" fault menu. 

 3. Start again, unable to start, and no signs of smoke 

4. The fault code retrieved is VC0002-11

 Failure cause analysis 

 1. Out of fuel 

 2. A circuit failure causes the injector solenoid valve to lose power. 

 3. ECU hardware or software failure causes control failure

Troubleshooting process  

1. Check the oil level in the fuel tank to determine whether there is oil in the tank  

2. Do a static test of the fuel injectors - unplug the oil return pipes of the four fuel injectors, turn the key

 switch to the START position, start the engine, observe the oil return conditions of the four fuel 

injectors, and find that all four fuel injectors are There is obvious oil return, which proves that the 

injection pump and high-pressure pipeline are working properly.  

3. Based on the judgment in step 2 and the content of the fault alarm, it can be determined that it is an 

electrical fault. Check the emergency flameout switch. It is not in the flameout position. Check the 

engine ECU wiring harness and find that it is loose. After re-plugging the ECU connector, the fault is 

eliminated.

in conclusion  

1. The ECU connector is installed downward, and the equipment vibrates greatly when it is working, 

causing the wiring harness connector to become loose and cause poor contact. 

 2. In order to prevent loosening, the installation direction of the connector has been changed to the 

right side in subsequent models.
