Padflash ECU Programmer can read and write Mercedes-Benz CRD3.10 ECU on bench as well.

Check the step-by-step guide below.

 

1.Launch the PADFlash Updater Manager tool

2.Hit “Search” and locate the pinout for CRD3.10

3.Connect the bench cable to the ECU

4.Connect the bench box to the PADFlash tool

Note: Ensure you use the correct gender adapter. The tool comes with one adapter for the OBD cable and another for the bench box.

5.In the PADFlash Updater tool, click “Activate FW” to download the license key (this is required for each ECU you want to work with)

6.Click “Activate” to activate the tool

7.Click OK when you see the tool login screen

8.Click OK and set your desired language

9.Run the PADFlash software

10.Click “Select Driver” and choose “Bench mode” specifically, select “BENCH MODE-BENCH Crd3.X MERCEDES Tricore TC1793/97-BENCH CRD3.X MERCEDES TC1793/97”.

11.Press Next and carefully read the on-screen instructions.

Note: Ensure the correct gender adapter is in place.

12.Connect to the ECU

Once connected, the ECU details will be displayed.

13.Create a backup of the ECU data.

14.After backing up, you can proceed to write the modified data to the ECU by PADFlash.
