PADFlash ECU Programmer supports OBD, Bench, and Boot three modes for Mercedes-Benz CRD3.x ECU reading and writing. In this post, you will learn about how to read and write Benz CRD3.10 data via OBD.

Operation guide:

1.Connect Padflash and computer

Use the USB cable to connect PADFlash ECU & TCU Programmer and a computer/PC (WIN7 or WIN10 64-bit)

Insert the USB KEY that comes with the device into the computer

Make sure the network connection is normal and stable

2. Select the corresponding ECU model

Run the PADFlash software on your desktop

Select the ECU model you desire

i.e. MERCEDES>> C KLASSE (From 2000)>> 1.8/2/2 CDI Blue 136/177/204HP Delphi CRD3.x * CAN Fast (TC1797)

Click “Next”

3.Connect Padflash and Benz CRD3.x ECU

Follow the diagram to connect the Padflash and the Benz ECU correctly, and click “OK”

Note:

• Connecting the tool incorrectly to the ECU can cause damage to both.
• Always follow the instructions found on the “Manuals” button for the selected ECU.

4.Read ECU data

Click “ECU Data” to read the data

5.Read File

Click “Read File” to read the file data and input a file name to save it

After the reading is successful, it will show “Reading terminated, turn the ignition off”.

6.Open file

Click “Open file” to select the crd3.1 file you want to write

7.Write File/Recovery

Click “Write File/Recovery” to write the file

Wait a while until the process is complete.

After that, turn the ignition off

Done!
