It’s successful to add smart key to Toyota Rav4 Camry 2013-2018 by Launch X431 PRO Elite diagnostic tool.

Operation:

Connect X431 PRO Elite tablet to the Toyota vehicle properly

Select [Service Function] on the main menu

Select IMMOBILIZER RESET

Select the software version (i.e. RESET IMMO Diagnosis V11.21)

Pay attention to the prompt on the screen:

If the execution of the special function menu is unsuccessful, please enter the intelligent diagnosis or traditional diagnosis and then enter the specific vehicle special function or actuation test to perform the required functions.

Select TOYOTA>> 16PIN DLC (North America)>> Rav4>> 2013>> 2AR-FE>> W>> Smart key

Confirm the vehicle info

If communication abnormally occurs during the test, pls ensure whether the vehicle is equipped with other parts. If other parts are installed, you can try to remove the parts and then perform the test.

Select SMK (Smart Key)

The ECU control is keyless entry and starting engine with the detection smart key.

Click “OK”

Select Special function

Scanning special function…

Select Smart Code Registration (Classic)

Follow the instruction to operate.

Ensure the power/engine switch is ON (IG), and the smart Cancel function is OFF

Select “I am just registering keys”

Remaining number of keys that can be registered is 3, and the number of keys currently registered is 1.

Touch the Power/Engine switch a registered key (ensure the emblem side is facing the 1G SW)

Touch the Power/Engine switch a key (ensure the emblem side is facing the 1G SW)

The smart code was checked.

If you want to register another, use the above step to operate.

Smart code registration is complete. The registered key is 2 now.

Finally, test the key, works fine!
