2021 Chery EQ1 adds a smart key using Lonsdor K518 Pro via OBD successfully.
Operation guide:
Step 1: Connect device and vehicle
Connect K518 Pro Key Programmer and the Chery EQ1 car via OBD cable
Menu function path:
Navigate to Immo & Remote>> Chery>> Select from vehicle>> Chery>> EQ1 (S51EV Little Ant)>> Smart Key>> High configuration
Step 2: Delete key
It needs to delete key before adding a new key.
This car only supports two working keys.
Select “Delete smart key”
Confirm to erase key
Delete smart key successfully
Step 3: Add smart key
When programming smart key for this car, you don’t have to turn on the ignition.
After deleting smart key successfully, select “Add smart key”.
We can only program 2 keys.
The current count of keys is 0.
Place the first key in the middle of the storage tray
The middle of the storage tray is under the gear button, there is a hollow space.
Put the key over there, and take out other keys
Continue to learn the second key
Take out the first key, and put the second key is the middle of the storage tray
Wait a while until the key learning is completed
These two keys have been programmed by K518 Pro.
If you didn’t delete the old lost smart key, the new smart key cannot be programmed.
Step 4: Test the key
Try the remote control, close the door
Press the lock and unlock button of the original and new car key, all work fine
Then go to start the car
Hit the brake, press the start button, the car starts normally
Turn off the ignition, take the original car key out of the car, put the new key in the car, and press the start button, and hit the brakes, the car can start normally as well
The new smart key is programmed by Lonsdor K518 Pro key programmer successfully.
