It has been confirmed and tested that BMW 3rd Gen. 8HP gearbox can be cloned by Yanhua Mini ACDP2/ACDP1 with Module 36 successfully. No soldering. No risk!

Operation:

Power on Yanhua ACDP1/ACDP2

Open ACDP APP/software

Confirm the device is bound in the upper right corner

Select BMW>> EGS

Click “Help” on the right of 8HP_GEN3 Clone (ZF TC275/TC277) to check the connection diagram

Connect Yanhua Module 36 8HP_GEN3 Clone (ZF TC275/TC277) Interface Board to BMW gearbox, and use DB15-LAN3 Adapter and TCU Cable to connect interface board and ACDP/ACDP-2 correctly

Need to press the button down to CAN-R, and also need to use the ACDP standard power adapter (voltage + 12V, current>=2.5A)

Select 8HP_GEN3 Clone (ZF TC275/TC277)

Start to clone BMW 8HP_GEN3 gearbox

Step 1: Identify system info

Click “Identify” to identify the system info and verify it

Identify the chip info finish

Record the save path

Step 2: Full backup data

Click “Full backup data”

Confirm the system indo

Read and save the chip data

Pay attention to the path, date, and file name of the file backup

Back up chip data finish

Step 3: Full write data

Use the same method to connect Mini ACDP to another BMW 3rd gen.8HP gearbox

Select the chip data just saved in step2 to write into the new one

Note: Don’t turn off power or unplug device while writing data

Write chip data finish

All clone steps are completed.
