CG FC200 ECU programmer can support mileage repair for Volkswagen Bosch MED17.5.25, ME17.5.22, and MED17.1.27 ECUs. Need to update the software to V1.2.3.0 or newer. Below is a step-by-step demo guide for mileage correction on a VW MED17.5.25 ECU.
Vehicle Info:
Model: 2015 VW Sagitar
ECU: Bosch MED17.5.25 TC1782
Original Mileage: 179,200 km
Step-by-Step Guide:
1.Run CG FC200 Software
Select VW > Bosch MED17.5.25 TC1782 > Platform Mode.
2.Check Wiring Diagram
Two versions of pinouts are available; follow the diagram for your setup.
Required connections:
3.Connect and Identify ECU
Connect the ECU to the FC200 device according to the wiring diagram.
Use the software to Identify ECU.
4.Read and Save Original Dflash Data
Select Read Dflash.
Save the original Dflash data as a backup.
5.Process Data for Mileage Correction
Go back to the main menu and select VW > Bosch MED17.5.25 TC1782 > Data Process.
Choose ECU Mileage Repair Function > MED17.5.25 ECU.
Load Dflash: Upload the original Dflash data you just read.
6.Modify Mileage
The software will automatically detect the original mileage, which should closely match the actual value.
Enter the desired new mileage.
Save the new mileage data.
7.Write New Dflash Data to ECU
Go back and select the ECU.
Use Identify ECU and then choose Write Dflash.
Select the new mileage data file and confirm to write.
Ensure the original data is backed up before proceeding (this was done earlier).
Write operation should complete successfully.
Once completed, the mileage correction is done by CG FC200, and the ECU will reflect the updated value.
