Sometimes, Mercedes-Benz A-Class, B-Class, and GLA-Class vehicles may experience a situation where the car can be started but cannot be put into gears. This is caused by a loss of transmission ECU data due to a discharged car battery. The fault codes read with a diagnostic tool will reveal DTC P051300. OBDSTAR DC706 can repair the data to solve this issue easily.
Benz ECU model:
i.e. Mercedes-Benz GETRAG VGS2
Device and accessories required:
OBDSTAR P004 Adapter and ECU Clone Jumper
Main cable
12V 5A power supply (DC)
Operation method:
In Bench mode
Operation guide:
Select ECU Flasher>> TCM>> TCM V30.27>> vgs2>> BENZ GETRAG VGS2-FDCT TC1784
Click Guide to check the operation instruction and wiring diagram
Pinout diagram:

Follow the diagram to connect P004 Adapter and Benz TCM via OBDSTAR P004 ECU Clone Jumper, and connect to DC706 ECU Tool via the main cable, and then connect power supply to P004 Adapter
After connection, click “Start” and select “BENCH” and “P004”
Turn on the switch button of OBDSTAR Adapter
Make sure DC706 is connected to internet
Click “Connect” to connect ECU
Follow the prompt to turn off ignition and then turn on
ECU is connected successfully
Then start to read INT flash (TC1784) and INT eeprom (TC1784) separately
Save the original data after reading
Finally, click “Repair data” to repair the Benz TCM data with OBDSTAR DC706 ECU Programmer.
