Working with OBDSTAR P003 Bench/Boot Adapter, OBDSTAR DC706 ECU Tool can read and write EXT EEPROM, INT Flash and EXT Flash on FIAT BOSCH EDC16C8 ECM in bench mode.

To perform the clone function successfully, you also need the ECU Clone Jumper, main cable and 12V power supply to work together. Keep DC706 charging and communicating throughout the whole progress, and make sure the network connection is stable as well.

After that, start to operate on OBDSTAR DC706 tablet, follow the guide and Pinout inside to connect device and ECM correctly and perform the read & write functions.

1.Menu path

ECU Flasher>> ECM >> ECM V30.33 (choose newest software version)>> BRAND>> FIAT

Input 16c8 in the search box to quickly obtain the corresponding ECM model- FIAT BOSCH EDC16C8 MPC556+AM29BL802C (BENCH)

B-Pin 1, 28= 12V (16)

B-Pin 2= GND (4+5)

B-Pin 25= K LINE (7)

A-Pin 50= GPT0

A-Pin 12= GPT1

3.Connect devices and ECM

Connect OBDSTAR P003 Adapter, DC706 ECU Tool, and original Fiat EDC16C8 ECM via the corresponding cables correctly

4.Connect ECU, read and write ECM data

Connect to ECU successfully

Select the corresponding option to read EXT eeprom (95XXX), INT flash (MPC5566) and EXT flash (AM29BL802C) and save the data separately

Disconnect the original Fiat ECM, and connect OBDSTAR DC706 ECU programmer to a new Fiat ECM

Upload the all original ECM data to write into the new ECM

All read and write operations are completed.
