How to use Autel IM508S (IM508II) to generate smart remote and program key on BYD Seal?

It needs to connect WiFi to perform this function. Check the step-by-step guide below.

1.Connect device and car

Connect Autel MAXIIM IM50S and XP400 Pro via USB cable, and connect IM508S to vehicle via OBD cable

2.Connect WiFi

Go to Settings>> System settings>> Network & Internet>> Use WiFi

Connect with an available WiFi

3.Generate universal key

After connection, tap Universal Key>> Universal key Generation>> Asia>> BYD>> Hai Bao>> 2022>> BYD Hai Bao 2022 433.92 Mhz,FSK, ID46>> Generate Universal Key

Put a universal key into the coil of Autel XP400 Pro

Generate key successfully

4.Learn smart key

Back to the main menu, enter IMMO function

Select BYD>> Manual selection>> Dolphin>> Smart Key

Confirm the vehicle info

Select Control unit>> Immobilizer Remote Matching (CAN)>> Key Learned

Click “Start” to perform the function automatically

Place the key need to match under the cup holder (there is a key induction logo)

Learn key with MaxiIM IM508S successfully

Use the same method to match other keys.

After key learning is completed, check if the key can use or not. Use the key to start the car and test remote.
