How to read/write Ford Radios code and EEPROM with OBDSTAR DC706?

1.Prepare all devices, accessories and radio below.

Ford Radio (i.e. 6000CD TMS470)

OBDSTAR P004 ECU Clone Jumper

OBDSTAR P004 Adapter

Main Cable

OBDSTAR DC706 ECU Tool

2.Keep DC706 charging and communicating during the process, also ensure the internet connection is normal.

3.Select ECU Flasher>> All>> BODY/CHASSIS/OTHER>> BODY/CHASSIS/OTHER V30.15>> BRAND FORD>> MODULE RADIO

Quickly find the corresponding radio model

4.Click [Guide] to check the related operation instruction, and click [Pinout] to check the related wiring diagram

Connect the harness correctly according to wiring diagram

5.After connection, click [Start] and select [OBD] mode

6.Switch on OBDSTAR P004 Adapter

Click [Code Read] to read code successfully. It’s 1234.

Reboot P004 Adapter, and enter the pincode on Radio to verification

Verify Pincode successfully

7.Click [Code Change] to input a new code (i.e.4321). Operation success

Reboot P004 Adapter, and enter the new pincode on Radio to verification

Verify Pincode successfully as well

8.Click [Code Off]

Operate success, reboot P004 Adapter, and the radio can be used no need pincode now.

9.Click [Read eeprom] to read the EEPROM data and save it after reading.

10. Click [Write eeprom], select load external data and choose the original eeprom data just saved to write into the Ford radio.
