How to use Launch X431 X-Prog3 PC Adapter and X431 X-Prog3 to clone VW DQ200 Transmission Computer? Check the test on a VW Ameo 2016 DQ200 TC1766.

Procedure:

1.Download and install X-Prog3 PC Adapter PC Software

2.Connect the X-PROG3 PC ADAPTOR to the computer using a cable, and then connect the X-PROG3 PC ADAPTOR to G3.

3.Run PC software, the serial number will be automatically recognized from the X431 X-Prog3 PC Adapter, and the activation code needs to be obtained from the envelope of the X-Prog3 PC Adapter.

Click [Activate] (only once, no need to activate it again later).

4.Enter DQ200 in the search box to quickly query the desired ECU

It is Volkswagen (VW) Ameo 2016 N/A 1500 110 DQ200 (0AM/0CW) Dxx (D/K/G)_TC1766.

5.Go to the operation page

Click [Direct Connection Diagram] to obtain the ECU connection diagram, and then connect the DQ200 transmission computer and Launch X-Prog3 PC Adapter via a professional gearbox adapter

6.Click “Connect” to read chip ID

7.Click “Read EEPROM data” and “Read FLASH data” in sequence, read and save the original data

8.Connect X431 XPROG3 PC Adapter to a new DQ200 transmission computer, click “Write EEPROM data” and “Write FLASH data” in sequence, select the corresponding original data  to write into the new ECU

9.After writing successfully, click “Disconnect”

Done!
