Godiag GD101 J2534 Passthru Cable is able to diagnose 2009 Ballade with Honda HDS newest software 3.105.012. As HDS comes with 3.102 version software in default, it needs to install both HDS 3.102 and 3.105 on the same PC.

1.Download and install Honda HDS software

2.Download and install Godiag GD101 J2534 Driver

Free download Godiag GD101 J2534 driver- J1979 Diagnostic Tool V2.2

After downloading, select the setup language, and follow the prompts to install the driver.

After installation, go to Computer Management>> Device Manager>> Ports (COM& LPT), it has a USB Serial Device port, that means Godiag J2534 driver is installed successfully.

Run J1979 diagnostic tool program, click “Connect” to enable communication with vehicle

3.Diagnose 2009 Ballade by Godiag J2534 Cable and Honda HDS 3.105

Connect Godiag J2534 USB cable, ballade vehicle, and computer properly

Run Honda Diagnostic System software on the desktop

Click “F12” Set up button at the top of the page and select GODIAG- J2534 as Comms Interface

Enter odometer and R.O.number to identify vehicle

Select Honda Systems>> PGM FI>> Data List
