Here will take 2018 BMW 8 series 314.00 MHz as a demonstration to show how to generate a universal key by Autel MaxiIM IM508S (IM508II) with XP200.

The following is the operation guide.

1.Connection

Connect Autel IM508S and XP200 key programmer via the USB cable

Turn on IM508S tablet

When the indicator of Auel XP200 is green, that means the device communication is normal.

2. Universal key generation

Tap Universal key on the main menu

Accept the disclaimer

Select Universal Key Generation>> Europe>> BMW>> Type by Model>> 8 Series>> 2018>> BMW 8 series 2017- 2020 (314.00 MHz FSK, ID49)

Insert one Autel Ikey (AUTEL IKEYBW004AL BMW 4 Buttons Smart Universal Key) into Autel XP200 key programmer

Tap “Generate Universal Key” and wait the key generation is completed

Generate universal key successfully.
