Autel IM608 Pro II User Guide: Comparison, Register, Update, Wireless Data Print
Autel IM608 Pro II (Autel IM608 II) is the 2nd generation Autel key programmer. It’s the upgraded version of Autel IM608 and IM608 PRO, with the latest powerful hardware configuration, supports more functions. What are the similarities and differences between it and IM608, IM508, etc? How to use it?

What's the difference between IM608 II and IM608?
- IM608/Pro II has improved firmware, Android 10, larger RAM, ROM, with new JVCI+ VCI.
- Supports CAN protocol read and write without a password
- Add built-in DoIP and CAN FD protocol (don’t need converter)
- Support remote expert function
Compared with other Autel IM key programmers, the accessories between them are different, so more IM functions are supported by IM608 II. Besides, it adds more diagnostic functions.

PART TWO:
How to use Autel IM608 II key programmer?
1.Register and pair Autel IM608 Pro II with VCI to use
- Visit the Autel official website https://pro.autel.com/
- Create an Autel ID and register the Autel IM608 Pro with the device’s SN and password
- Connect the VCI with the vehicle’s DLC, which is generally located under the vehicle dash
- Connect Autel IM608 II tablet and XP400 Pro with the included APC001 (USB cable)
- Long press the Lock/Power button to turn on IM608 Pro II key programmer
- Pair up the tool with the VCI device via Bluetooth or the included USB cable (2m) to establish a communication link and your key programmer is now ready to use
2.Update Autel IM608 II
Connect the IM608 Pro II to the Internet and tap Update in the MaxiIM Job Menu to view all the available updates.
3.Perform immobilizer function
This function requires connection between vehicle, MaxiIM IM608 II tablet and XP400 Pro.
Pair up MaxiIM IM608 II tablet with VCI device via Bluetooth to establish a communication link with the vehicle
4.Perform programming function
This function requires connection between MaxiIM IM608 Pro II and XP400 Pro Key and Chip Programmer.
5.Print data via wireless on PC
- Download Maxi PC Suite from autel.com
- Click Support>> Download>> Autel Update Tools, and install it to Windows-based PC
Note: Make sure the IM608 II and the PC are on the same network (Wi-Fi or hard-wired) as the printer.
- Launch the PC Link application on the PC and click the MaxiSys Printer tab
- Click Test Print to make sure the printer is working successfully
- Tap Print on the toolbar of the tool. A temporary document will be created and sent to the PC
If the Auto Print option in the MaxiSys Printer is selected, the MaxiSys Printer will print the received document automatically.
If the Auto Print option is not selected, click Open PDF File to view all the temporary files. Select the files you want to print and click Print.
