Which Audi TCM can be cloned with OBDSTAR DC706 ECU programmer on bench?

Currently, DC706 with TCM V30.01 can read and write EEPROM &Flash on Audi TEMIC DQ200, DQ250, DL501, VL381, DL382 and DQ400E. Some TCMs also can recalibrate mileage. Check the details below.

Operation guide:

• Prepare all devices and accessories below:

OBDSTAR DC706 host

OBDSTAR P004 adapter and jumper

ECU Bench Jumper

Main cable

AUDI DQ200 G2 PQ/ DQ400E TCM

• Steps:

Keep OBDSTAR DC706 charging and communication through the process

Turn on OBDSTAR DC706 ECU programmer

Select ECU Flasher>> All>> TCM>> TCM V30.01>> AUDI>> AUDI TEMIC DQ200 G2 PQ TC1784 (BENCH) or AUDI TEMIC DQ400E TC1784 (BENCH)

Click “PINOUT” to check the related wiring diagram and follow it to connect the DC706 and TCM correctly

Supply the 12V power to DC706 tablet

After connection, click “Start” to enter the operation interface

Audi DQ200 G2 PQ connection:

AUDI DQ400E connection:

Click “Connect” to make the service connect to the ECU successfully

Read and backup INT/EXT EEPROM and INT flash data in sequence

Audi DQ200 G2 PQ:

AUDI DQ400E (all are read successfully, here just show INT flash reading):

Select the corresponding INT/EXT EEPROM and INT flash file to write into new TCM

When the system prompts “whether to write HEX editor data?”, just click “No”.

Audi DQ200 G2 PQ:

AUDI DQ400E (all are read successfully, here just show INT flash writing):

DQ200 also supports odometer correction function, so select “Recalibrate ODO” to enter the new mileage (km/mile) and wait the process is done.

Finally, click “Disconnect” to disconnect TCM and exit the job.
