OBDSTAR DC706 Read and Write Cadillac TCM EEPROM Flash on Bench

OBDSTAR DC706 currently clones Cadillac TCM 6L45, 6L50, 6L80, 6L90, 6T80 and T87A by bench mode without any issue. It can read ECU info, read/write EEPROM and Flash perfectly.

It’s simple to clone Cadillac TCM with OBDSTAR DC706 ECU programmer, only need 2 minutes!

Here takes Cadillac 6L45 TCM as an example.

Prepare all devices and accessories incl. DC706 host, OBDSTAR P004 adapter& jumper, and main cable

Turn on OBDSTAR DC706 tablet

Select ECU Flasher>> All>> TCM>> TCM V30.00>> CADILLAC>> CADILLAC GM 6L45 (OBD/BENCH)

Click “Pinout” to check the wiring diagram

Then follow it to connect the device and TCM correctly

Supply the 12V power to DC706 tablet

No need to press the Switch button on P004 adapter, just turn the resistors to ON!

After connection, click “Start” to enter the operation interface

Click “Connect” and press Switch button of P004 adapter (ON)

The service will connect to the ECU successfully

Continue to read eeprom and flash by selecting the corresponding option

After reading, backup the related original data file

Connect DC706 to the new TCM with the same connection method above.

Start to write eeprom and flash by selecting the corresponding option

When the system prompts “whether to write HEX editor data?”, just click “No”.

Select the original eeprom/flash file just saved to write into the new TCM

Wait a moment till the process is completed

After writing, click “Disconnect” and press the Switch button of P004 adapter (Off) to exit the job.
