Main cable

Toyota 89170 60460 (43)/89170 0E080 (Y9) Airbag ECU

Important!

Keep P50 in charging and communication in the whole process.

Menu function path:

Select Airbag Reset>> All>> Airbag Reset icon>> Airbag Reset V30.32 (newest version)>> Auto Search Part Number

Input the part number of ECU (case insensitive, fuzzy search supported)

Note: the part number can be found on the ECU label.

Before repairing the airbag computer, please carefully check the [Operation instructions].

Both the related operation steps and wiring diagram can be checked there. Just follow it to operate step by step.

Step 1: Read ECU info and DTC to confirm whether crash record data/crash fault exits

Step 2: Read flash and backup flash data

Step 3: Refer to the write flash mode wiring diagram, confirm that there is a wiring diagram corresponding to the ECU, and then proceed to the next step

Step 4: Erase crash

Step 5: Refer to the write flash mode wiring diagram, remove the resistance at the specified position, and weld the 10k resistance.

Step 6: Write flash

Step 7: Erase DTC

Step 8: Read ECU info and DTC again to check if the crash record data/crash fault has been cleared

1.Read ECU information- OK

Read out the crash recorded is YES

2.Read DTC- OK

3.Read Flash and backup data- OK

Disconnect the 12V power supply of P004 adapter (turn off the ignition) and wait for 30 seconds, and then reconnect it (turn on the ignition).

4.Erase crash- OK

5.Write Flash- OK

Disconnect the 12V power supply of P004 adapter (turn off the ignition) and wait for 30 seconds, and then reconnect it (turn on the ignition).

6.Erase DTC-OK

7.Read ECU info- OK

The crash recorded is NO.

8.Read DTC- OK

The crash fault has been cleared.
