V2020.09 2M2 Magic Tank (X6 PLUS) expands powerful functions. With the super key, it can generate 95% of car keys. This post will share the guide to cut a new key for HY22 using the new function- Create Keys by Camera.

Make sure you have downloaded 2M2 Magic Tank APP 

Connect 2M2 Magic Tank key cutting machine with Android mobile phone via Bluetooth

Run 2M2 APP

Go to “Create Keys by Camera” function

Then you will see the instruction:

Here is to use 2M2 super key blank to create key blank or new keys by camera, and save all the key shape data that you get in the database (My key).

The super blank key incl. L series, S series and T series

There are many laser key types are supported, such as laser key 1 inner side/with shoulder, laser key 2 inner sides /with shoulder, laser key 1 outer side/with shoulder, laser key 2 outer sides.

Here select “laser key 2 inner sides”

Tick “yes” for the options depends on features, then press “NEXT”

Please kindly notice:

The following operation steps are very important, please follow the instruction on the screen to do step by step:
-Prepare auxiliary tool and loosen the handwheel.
-Fix the customer key
-Tighten the handwheel

Then adjust the key position in the picture and rotate the key to parallel with the horizontal line.

Pull the blue line to overlying the blue line on the clamp and pull the red line to overlying the red line on the clamp

Pull the red line to touch the tip of the key
Pull the blue line to overlying the first cut of the key
Pull the green line to overlying the last cut of the key

Pull the red line to touch the tip of the key
Pull the yellow line to overlying the edge up the key
Pull the blue line to overlying the edge up to the groove

Pull the red line to overlying the tip of the key
Pull the blue line to overlying the edge of up and down groove

After that, fix the key on the right, and fix the key depend upon the red mark line
Pay attention to the red mark line.

Then start

Start to find bittings, don’t remove the key

Put a new 2m2 magic tank S series key blade to cut
It will take about 2-3 minutes to cut four sides of the key

Cut the new laser key successfully
