One thing we find when we go through the years

Is that not all that is bad is displayed in tears

tears can release the good just as easy as the bad

tears can be just as happy as they can be sad

Words touched heart softly, 

hopefully that is true

who knows what the next step will be,  

for me and for you

I offer no more back to you than you are prepared to give

I offer no more from me than I would be prepared to live

A bed of roses, a dream, perhaps for another day

A friend for the moment, yes in every way

The future need not be what happens right now

The future may be what we happen to allow

Brush those tears away, close your eyes and rest

escape the world, soar the heavens with the best

We make our life choices based on the heart, not to ignore

We live our lives choices, always, to respect that evermore
