天和地之所以能久远存在，是因为天和地自身不生长，所以天和地才能长久存在下来。
也同样是这个道理，圣人，将他自己置身事物之外因而能够先知先觉，将他自己置身事物之外因而使他身体安然无恙。
这正是因为圣人心中没有他自己，所以能使他自己成功达到先知先觉、安然无恙。
