BAYSIDE, NY—A 16-year-old Chinese boy from Bayside turned himself in to authorities recently after being persuaded by his father and the New York State Law Enforcement Community Council (NYSLECC). According to sources, the boy initially resisted surrendering and clashed physically with his father during the confrontation. However, after understanding the serious legal consequences of remaining a fugitive, he agreed to cooperate and turned himself in.
